Some German opening themes... from the Italian ones!
geschrieben von: yusaku, 16.07.06 02:21
Ciao friends! I'm Yusaku and I'm Italian. :-)
I need your help, please. ^___^

You know that some German opening anime themes have been translated from the Italian ones, mainly those cartoons that were aired by TeleFunf or Rtl2 (because Tele5 was founded by the Italian Silvio Berlusconi, that has the Italian channels Italia1, Canale5 and Rete4, and created the French "LaCinq" (now dead) and the Spanish "Tele Cinco").
For examples the German opening theme of Lady Oscar was originally realized by the Italian lyricist Alessandra Valeri Manera and the musician Carmelo "Ninni" Carucci, then it was translated by Michael Kunze. The original Italian song is "Una spada per Lady Oscar" sung by Cristina D'Avena.
Another example is Mila Superstar (Attack no.1). In fact this song derives from the Italian "Mila e Shiro: due cuori nella pallavolo" (the Japanese anime name is "Attacker You!"), translated also into the Spanish theme "Juana y Sergio" and into the French "Jeanne et Serge".
Other names are Kickers (from the Italian "Palla al centro per Rudy"), Die Kinder vom Berghof (from the Italian "Là sui monti con Annette"), Familie Nikolaus (from the Italian "Alla scoperta di Babbo Natale"), Die kleinen Superstars
(from the Italian "Hilary"), Hallo Kurt! (from the Italian "Siamo quelli di Beverly Hills")... and many others. If you want to deepen you can visit my pages, here my table with many of these foreign correspondences (http://tabella.altervista.org you can hear the songs) and my full page (http://ysk.altervista.org about Italian cartoon themes (you can hear the songs, too).
The problem is now. There are other German themes like these that I don't know.
So I uploaded the pieces of some Italian cartoon themes, can you listen to them and tell me if these melodies are used in Germany for any cartoon?
Here the list: [alinvest.altervista.org]
All these songs are sung by the most important Italian cartoon singer: Cristina D'Avena.

Grazie a tutti per il vostro aiuto ^_____^
Bye!
Yusaku
